I am coming to Thailand in June and I am interested in visiting possible new places than I'd normally go to. Typically my favourites on a two or three weeks vacation have been Chang mai, Hua Hin, Udon Thani, Pattaya, spending bout four days to a week in each place.

tried other places like Chang rai, ko samet, phuket, Krabi, few other cities in isaan, Bangkok several times.

I don't care too much for phuket.

Anywhere someone can recommend that they they actually travelled to that they really enjoyed the place.

Has anyone applied for a motorcycle license in Mae Hong Son recently? Just arrived here and thought the queue must be shorter here — trying to determine if waiting until next week to find out the queue (past the holidays) is worth it.

Doing it in Chiang Mai was going to take a few weeks, is Mae Hong Son any quicker? If you’ve done it, how long did it take you from the beginning to the end?

Hi! Im on a non-o volunteer visa that runs out December 31st. My visa is registered in Mae Hong Son but I am planning on moving to Chiang Mai. I want to do the 60 day COVID extension and know that sometimes make you come back to the office to get re-stamped so Im wondering if I can register my new place in CM (new TM30) and get the extension there or if I need to do it in Mae Hong Son. CM would be easier so I dont need to go back and forth to Mae Hong Son. My organization is helping but they are also not sure.

Also, and I read the TM30 post but am still confused, I plan on traveling but home-basing in CM, do I need to fill out a new TM30 everywhere I go or is it OK to just have my CM address registered? Thanks!

Hi! I have a non-immigrant o visa based in Mae Hong Son. If I want to extend (not the 90 day check in but the 90 day extension) do I have to be physically present at the immigration office?

I have a tm30 for my place of residence in Chiang Mai. I stayed 1 night in Mae Hong Son last week. Is my tm30 still valid? Is it possible to check at immigration prior to trying to use it to apply for a covid extension? Thanks in advance

Hi everyone 👋 I would like to ride my motorbike from Bangkok to Mae Hong Son on October 1st, stay there for a week and then ride back. Is this possible? Would I be required to quarantine in any of the provinces along the way? Would I have to install one of the covid apps and do something with it at some point. If so, when and with which app? Is there such thing as a Mae Hong Son border run in order to obtain a tourist visa (US Passport)? I am aware that the most common location for border crossing is Mae Sai but I have the opportunity to be in that area at the time I need to leave the country and I would like to plan accordingly.

Could anyone please help. Can I extend visa exempt stamp for 30 days if I am citizen of Russian fed. As I couldn't get it in a local immigration office in Maehongson. Thanks.
