Good afternoon all,

Just reporting what I am hearing, that Pai immigration  was recently processing "covid extensions", but now telling people that they have to go to Mae Hong Son immigration office for that.

Anybody have any news / update on this?

Go to MHS twice... one for "under consideration" stamp, and again for actual extension.. great

I'd call the immigration office in Pai (or stop in and ask) to see what's what

that's what Pai immigration office was charging people up there for the 60 day covid extension being issued on the spot AND they were telling people who argued about the price to go to Mae Hong Son for it if they only wanted to pay 1900baht

Hahaha that's great. No wonder why so many live up there in Pai so long, no need to pay an agent foe a BS visa, just go direct.

The immigration office in Pai is a substation of the Maehongson province immigration office, the HQ being in Maehongson town. I haven't heard anything about this, but if it's true then that's the reason for it.
