I have a tm30 for my place of residence in Chiang Mai. I stayed 1 night in Mae Hong Son last week. Is my tm30 still valid? Is it possible to check at immigration prior to trying to use it to apply for a covid extension? Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 form is used to inform the Thai immigration of your residence. After staying overnight in another province, you need to ensure that a new TM30 is submitted upon your return to Chiang Mai. One user reported that they were able to have their TM30 updated at immigration without any charge when they informed them of their recent stay in Mae Hong Son.

For anyone in the same situation. I took my tm30 to immigration, gave it and my passport to them, informed them that I had just returned from another province and they made me a new one on the spot. It took about 15 minutes and didn't cost anything.

Thanks for the update ๐Ÿ™‚ This is ONLY for Chiang Mai though.

A TM30 is used to inform the immigration office where you are staying. The property owner must submit a TM30 no later then one business day after you being residing on a property. You must have a new TM30 submitted when you return to the property in Chiang Mai.

Thanks for the information. I'm not sure if the hotel in Mae Hong Son registered me for my stay there. Do you know if it is possible for me to check at immigration if the tm30 I have is still valid?

I'd assume it wouldn't, and just have the residence where you're staying at to re-submit the TM30.
