Just a quick question on the "NON O" married to a Thai / Extension of Stay

Firstly, I have had some superb visa information from Tod Daniels as always (Thank you Tod).

I usually use the 40k per month but issues with wise coding it as domestic rather than International this year. Hence not a good time of the year to leave family at Xmas.

Anyhow! to the point I will/am required to start all over again but use the 400k banked.

Do I have to show it comes from International, can I use wise for this even though they there were issues with wise and domestic coding my money.

Can I use any source of money banked as long as it 400k baht in my bank 2 months prior?

Require Santa's little helpers on this please.

Extension of stay based on lump sum deposit (Married to Thai) - (and couple of other related questions, cos I not use that extension method for years) ?

Before I use the affidavit from Embassy and evidence of monthly transfers. However, because of difficulties related to overseas transfer bank code etc., I decided to switch to lump sum 400k deposit.

Where I may find example of bank letter (Bangkok Bank if this important)?

Should I get this letter a day before application?

The lump sum must be deposited 2 months before application - is this still correct, and how these months are calculated? For example, If I deposited funds at the end of December, will be good to apply in the first days March, or I should calculate some amounts of day (for example, funds deposited on 22 December + 60 days, good to apply on 22 February)?

On the day to get final stamp, should I transfer some small amount to account then update bank book to show the funds still at account?

Thank you so much

I have Non B extension of stay based on married to Thai. Can my bank account go below 200k as long as it is back to 400k 3 months before I apply for my next extension? Sorry to ask again but I have conflicting information about this, especially from my wife 😉

Hi everyone.

Planning ahead for my 1-year Non-O visa extension (married to a Thai) in Bangkok. What is the earliest I can apply at Chaengwathana? Is it 45 or 30 days ?

Thank you very much.

I am on the yearly extension of stay based on “Thai wife.” Originally non o and this year was my third extension. I am kicking around the idea of finding a language school or university that teaches Thai as second language.

My question is am I fine to do this without changing extension status? (Or any status)

Thank you so much for your help.

Just a minor query.

I have a one year extension type visa (married to a Thai) and it isn't necessary to do the 'ninety days'.

When this period of grace is over, does one have to sign in immediately?

Hi Tod. I am married to a Thai and I have 2 children. Is there a visa where I can get an extension based on raising 2 kids? I have tried to research this but I cannot find one. Is it possible?
