Permanent Residency question

I’m considering applying for PR. What is the full process - I’m married to a Thai National. As a UK citizen, what’s the process for notarising (and apostille) for education certificates. Anyone know a company in Bangkok that can handle the process for a fee (and police report)

I am currently on Non-O based on marriage first 90-day entry. I am scheduled to leave 11th March and I had a trip planned which I need to cancel now. I have only put the 400k in to my Thai Bank today, so it will not be seasoned for the full 2 mths before March 11.

Question I guess is can my local immigration give me a 60 day extension to be able to then process my 1 year extension in April instead to save me having to leave?

My wife is going to purchase a house shortly in Phrae province.

As we have to return to UK in 6 weeks time (whilst I am here on a 90 day visa so won’t be extending it this trip) how long does it take to get a blue book which I guess would only be in my wifes name?

Would this entitle me as married to a thai, the yellow book which, when I return to Thailand Oct ‘26, makes things a bit easier for opening a bank account in place of a certificate of residence?

My marriage visa was stamped for Jan 22nd. We arrived October 24th. I would like to extend it an additional 60 days. What is the timeframe for doing so and do I need a bank account. Do I just show up at immigration with the documents I have? Thank you for your time

Hi all , I have an account with Bangkok Bank but I have been out of Thailand for over a year . I’ve seen there have been issues with people having their accounts frozen, I’ve also read that it doesn’t affect people who are married to a Thai and have an address in Thailand both of which apply to me . Can anyone confirm this to be correct ?

I’ll soon be returning to Thailand but I’m not sure if I should transfer money from my UK account to Bangkok bank or not .

If they were to suspend my account would they give notice ?

I’ve logged into my account’s app and everything seems to be ok at present .

I arrived on a thirty day visa exempt 23/6/25 and got married to a Thai national 5/7/25, where do I apply for the sixty day extension while jumping through the required hoops to try for a marriage visa?

Good evening admin..im from philippines and newly married to thailand national.after marriage..we apply my o visa.and i complitted all the requirements except my passport.because when i come to thailand ..i used my old passport under the name of my late husband..(im widow).but i take my original documents that i am sjngle.my CENOMAR.(from PSA)birth certificate and death certificate of my late husband..so i regitered the marriage on my single name....but they suggest to go back to.my country to change my single status..so i did and i apply o visa in philippjnes.in thai embassy..but they advice to do it through online..so i applied it but because i confused when they asking my recent travel document..i send to them. My old paspport where i used in first tjme and married here in thailand.so it is not match in my married certificate..so they denied it...i recieve email that denied but i am here already in thailand..so they told me to reapply again..but when i go to the website they are asking me to send the booking ticket..how i do this..i am now in thailand ..not in philippjnes...and i have no computer here so that i can do ot easily....we are thingking to gobto the fixer office but its too expensive..my thai husband is only a simple life living...working in the hotel in koh samui.and me i cannot work here because i have no work permiti i need first to have o visa then apply to permit to work....but they denied.through my mistake upload passport ...i dontbknow what tondo. I dont know who i can talk...or asking dvice so i jojned tonthis group maybe it helps.. any advice my friends? I am getting married to my Thai partner in early July and wish to retire in Thailand. I have started to an application for a non o visa and I got extremely bogged down around the fourth page asking for things like proof of medical insurance and funds in a Thai bank account as well as a medical certificate and police clearance. Am I approaching this the right way. I am from Australia. I'm sure that this kind of question has been asked repeatedly however, any constructive information would be greatly appreciated. I intend to register our marriage and apply for a spousal visa.

Im entering Thailand next week with a visa exempt 60 days with my 2 babies and my Thai boyfriend. We will get married in Thailand and apply for the Non o single entry visa and later do the 1 year extension

Does anyone know if I have to leave Thailand to apply for my non o visa ? Or can I apply for it inside Thailand? Would it matter if I came with a tourist visa or visa exempt ?
