ORIGINAL POSTER
My marriage visa was stamped for Jan 22nd. We arrived October 24th. I would like to extend it an additional 60 days. What is the timeframe for doing so and do I need a bank account. Do I just show up at immigration with the documents I have? Thank you for your time

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your marriage visa for an additional 60 days in Thailand, you need to visit the immigration office and bring your Thai wife along, along with proof of your registered marriage in Thailand. Each immigration office has its own requirements, and not all offices offer the 60-day extension. It’s important to verify if your entry stamp date aligns with the expected visa duration.

if Arrival Date was 24 October 2025, then are you sure it was 22 January 2026, as for a Non–O E–Visa based on Thai Wife Single Entry, the date on your Entry Stamp should be 21 January 2026 ( 24 October 2025 to 21 January 2026 )

You'll need your Thai wife to attend immigration with you, along with proof of your marriage that's registered in Thailand. Some immigration offices might start the extension the day you apply, and some might add it to the end of your entry stamp. This is a generic list of requirements, as each immigration office sets their own requirements.

Do note: not every immigration office offers the 60 day visiting Thai family extension.
