Can I directly apply for a 12-month extension and multiple entry after transferring funds for a Non-O retirement visa?

I’m thinking of applying for the non-o retirement visa as I can’t apply for marriage visa anymore (been on marriage visas for last 6-7 years or so)

I already have a Thai bank account but have been told when my cards need to be renewed in ‘27 I’ll need to have another long term visa not DTV or tourist to keep my account open 

My question is if I transfer the 800k into my already opened account (obviously money seasoned in account) when I arrive with the visa can I just go straight in to apply for the 12 month extension & do I apply for multiple entry at same time as well?

If you’ve been on a marriage visa 6-7 years you said then you will have already done extensions ?

the requirements for 1-year extensions based on retirement are different from those for extensions based on being married to a Thai wife. So it is absolutely legal to ask for advice

And yes the second you get the year extension inked in you can apply for a multiple reentry permit for 3800 baht

you have to apply for multi entry after you’ve had your 1 year extension approved? This isn’t done simultaneously ?

at most offices they are two separate counters only at the smaller offices do they sell them at the same desk.

Get the extension make a copy of that extension inked in your passport fill out the application for the reentry permit and apply for it, you do it right after they ink the extension in.

Nope you can't. At Chiang Mai you can apply for an extension of stay when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp. So once you arrive on your new 90 day Non-O visa you need to burn down 45 days before you can apply for your yearly extension
