Hello everyone,

I’m in Vietnam and I want to apply for a Muay Thai DTV visa. I need an accommodation letter from the hotel.

What should I be careful about? Any tips or requirements I need to know?

— HELP: STOLEN PASSPORT: flying to bkk soon … who to contact?! Please read below —

I need some advice regarding my Muay Thai DTV (Soft Power) visa and my visa is digital (I have an online copy and a printed version - nothing was in my actual passport luckily)

I applied and was approved digitally in Hanoi, but my old Canadian passport was stolen recently and I now have a new passport. I need to update my passport number for my visa, and the Muay Thai school is updating the invitation letter for me.

Has anyone been in this situation before? Who should I contact, and what steps do I need to take to make sure my visa is recognized when I fly to Bangkok on November 5 from Madrid?

- I have a photo of my old passport

- a photo of my new passport

- police report

- all emails with the Canadian embassy regarding my stolen passport

- all DTV documents/pics digitally I used when applying in Hanoi and being approved

Are there any agents in Chiang Mai or elsewhere who can help with this process also?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated — I want to avoid any issues at immigration.

Thank you!

Kind Advice Requested...

I applied for my Muay Thai DTV in Hanoi. My application was canceled, saying that I didn't have enough months left in my passport.

So we hoofed it over to the Embassy and filed for new passports.

I just got word that our new passports are arriving early next week, so I have to re-apply. Do I re-apply at Hanoi, or do I have to switch to HCMC? You switch cities if you get a rejection, right? But for a cancelation, you can re-apply at the same location?

Please let me know if you have actual experience with this.

No annoying gripes or jabs, thanks.

Hi everyone, just wanted to say thanks to all of you in this group for the wealth of information and great sense of community 🙏🏼🙏🏼 It helped me during my process immensely!

Got into Thailand today on a soft power (Muay Thai) DTV that I applied for myself through Ho Chi Minh City.

Would love to pay it forward and help out anyone else in a similar situation who might have questions about the process 😁

Hello everyone. I'm planning to register for a Muay Thai DTV in France this year-end. Apparently, a proof of accommodation in Thailand is required, but for how many days? For the full 180 days or just a few days upon arrival are enough for get this visa ? Thank you 🙂

Hello everyone. I'm planning to apply for a Muay Thai DTV in France this year-end. If everything goes well and I receive my visa-approved email, how many days do I have to enter Thailand? It seems that the waiting times at the Thai consulate in Paris are long, and I haven't bought my ticket to Thailand yet. Thank you 🙂

I've been applying from the UK for a Muay Thai DTV and have been asked to go to the Embassy for an interview. Has anyone had this experience? All my documents are in place and everything was sent to them as requested.
