TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the possibility of obtaining a Thai work visa and fulfilling citizenship requirements through business ownership under the author's wife's name. Comments highlight the legal issues with this arrangement, emphasizing that starting a business solely for visa purposes is against the law. Additional commentary discusses the requirements for foreign employees in Thai businesses, potential risks, and legal scrutiny involved in such processes.

So you post this for everyone yo see you break the law? Goof start

I read many questions on this site and it amazes me the amount of people that try to rort the system. You are a guest in Thailand; remember a guest. Please do the right thing and follow the laws of the country. If one can't why go to Thailand.

@Keith ******
you must be new here. Self entitled twats have been doing this here for a long time. Because they can’t do it in pretty much any other country.

you not from UK.. Where we are exploited by foreigners to the point of collapse...native UK residents especially the elderly ignored and free health care for any criminal scum tbst come here by boat destroying their identity.

Genuine asylum seekers different story. They should be shiwn compassion. But UK is a small island being stripped. 😕

Maybe GB shouldn’t have colonized and destroyed

of the world. What do you think you’re doing to Thailand? Same same, no different.

there is a certain irony when you claim the UK is being exploited by foreigners when you look at how many foreign countries the UK colonized and exploited.

The UK established colonies in many countries across various continents throughout its history. Key regions and countries include:

North America

United States (Thirteen Colonies)

Canada

Caribbean

Jamaica

Barbados

Trinidad and Tobago

Africa

Egypt

South Africa

Kenya

Nigeria

Ghana

Asia

India

Pakistan

Bangladesh

Burma (Myanmar)

Malaya (Malaysia)

Australia and Oceania

Australia

New Zealand

Various Pacific islands (e.g., Fiji, Papua New Guinea)

Middle East

Iraq

Jordan

Palestine

These are just some examples; the British Empire at its height encompassed numerous territories worldwide.

Having a work permit is only one of the routes, being married is another route, the commonality is same visa extension of stay for 3 years and tax return receipts.
Ran ****
I have heard you could just apply citizenship after 3 years of marrige visa extension if those 3 years are consistent and you have been living most of the time in Thailand. You can apply for work premit all of those 3 years as well.

You do realise during this process they will scrutinise everything down to the very first piss you took as a baby... can you do it? Yes, will you get away with it? Highly unlikely and im sure it will come with a oneway to get one of Thailands 5 star prisons everyone loves to frequent for fraud and willful deceit of government agencies.

can I come to the caneing?
Jason **********
For her to have 1 foreigner as an employee you need 4 thai employees or 3 including herself while running a legitimate business as the work permit for a foreigner will draw scrutiny.
Peter *********
@Jason *********
only 2 employees if married
John **********
@Peter ********
but still need the 2m baht capital per work permit
Peter *********
@John *********
it’s only 1 million and I assume you understand what the 2m capital means
John **********
@Peter ********
I do, it's registered capital. It doesn't all have to be paid up. They may be able to get away with 1m but that's a variable. They also need to meet minimum salary requirements depending on where they come from.
Aake **********
How many times should you ask? Do you think you'll get an answer that satisfies you just because you ask the same question many times
Stephan ***********
@Aake *********
It's called "successive approximation"... 😁
Ken ***********
@Stephan **********
Successive approximation is a mathematical and numerical method used to find approximate solutions to equations or problems, particularly when an exact solution is difficult or impossible to obtain. It involves iteratively refining an initial guess based on certain rules or criteria.

Key Steps in Successive Approximation:

1. Initial Guess: Start with an initial estimate of the solution.

2. Iteration: Apply a function or update rule to improve the guess. This could involve solving a simpler equation or adjusting based on the previous guess.

3. Convergence Check: After each iteration, check if the new approximation is close enough to the desired accuracy or if it has converged to a solution.

4. Repeat: Continue the process until the solution meets the specified criteria.

Applications:

Root-Finding: Used in methods like the Newton-Raphson method.

Optimization: Employed in algorithms for finding minimum or maximum values.

Differential Equations: Helps in approximating solutions to complex equations.

This method is particularly useful in numerical analysis and computational mathematics where analytical solutions are not feasible.

Oh my... did nobody ever tell you the meaning of "" and 😁? Anyhow... thanks for the lecture... hope it wasn't too much work for you to copy it somewhere...
Craig *******
@Stephan **********
Thankyou. I can use that. So its true that if you keep asking the same question eventually you will get your desired answer. Fascinating.
