Tod Daniels Currently on a single entry tourist visa which I was going to extend and then switch to a Non O (welcome advice from yourself, thank you), however, I need to leave the country for a couple of weeks now to deal with something which coincides with my 60 day expiring. I'm still sorting out my finances before I can apply for the Non O.

Can I apply for another single entry tourist visa during the two weeks I'm away, then return on it and start again or is there a time limit required before I can reapply?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on a single entry tourist visa and seeks advice on whether they can apply for another single entry tourist visa while they are outside Thailand for a two-week period. Comments from other users clarify that there is no specific time limit preventing reapplication for a tourist visa when outside the country, and suggest options regarding recent visa entry changes.

As of October 1 2022 thru March 31 2023 ... Visa exempt entry into Thailand will be stamped in for 45 days... Plus one 30 day extension of stay available for 1900 Thai baht at the local Thai immigration office. = 75 days stay in Thailand.

So .. you may want to consider NOT ๐Ÿšซ getting the tourist visa this time as it will only give you 60 days on entry Plus one 30 day extension of stay = 90 days stay.

Nope, no time limit

you shouldn't have any issues applying for an getting a new SETV while you're out of the country and you shouldn't have any issues getting back in on it either (unless you have 2 years of covid extensions stamps in your passport ๐Ÿ˜ฎ )
