DTV in Prague

Applied as Freelancer, applied on 18th October received 1st November.

Documents required:

- Confirmation of stay in Thailand (5 months Bangkok + 4 months Phuket, both via Airbnb)

- Receipt of payment for accommodation (from Airbnb)

- Flight ticket to Bangkok

- Flight ticket exit before 180 days

- Bank statements (6 months) with 500.000baht from Revolut (saving account)

- Bank statements (6 months) with payments from clients from Revolut (Eur account, different from saving)

- Local Bank statements (6 months) for proof of tax payments

- Trading licence in Czech + google translation in English

- Portfolio

- CV

- Contracts with clients signed by both parties

- Czech residence card/proof of residence (also gave Czech driving licence)

- Interview even if it was an E-visa just to talk and explain basically everything I submitted, my intention in Thailand, why Thailand and so on

Staff was quite nice during the interview, they sure ask for a lot of documents compared to other places, but if you have all your cards in order you will get it, if you try to cut corners because you don't have all the requirements, well, you will have issues.

Hi, has anybody show the bank statement with Revolut or Wise?

I use a personal Revolut account and my wife as a personal Wise account, has anybody successfully used one of the 2 to submit the proof of funds?

We will apply in Czech Republic as we are currently living here.

I'm intending to visit Thailand in September, as a Czech republic citizen.

My plan is to go for 30 + 30 days extension then leave for 2-4 weeks and then return for another 30+30 days.

1. Is there any risk of not getting the extension during my second visit?

2. On some Czech websites I read that maximum limit to stay in Thailand is 90 days within any given 180 days period. Upon Googling and searching through Facebook groups I can't seem to verify this information anywhere. Hence asking here.

Thank you πŸ™

Hey guys,

I plan to go to Chiang Mai soon, and I need to apply for a visa.

I would like to stay 3 months. I heard you can apply for 60 days and then extend. Do I have to do a visa run?

Plus, where can I apply for the visa? I heard it can be done online, but so far, everything I found is a bit confusing.

I am from the Czech Republic.

Thanks πŸ™
