Hi, has anybody show the bank statement with Revolut or Wise?

I use a personal Revolut account and my wife as a personal Wise account, has anybody successfully used one of the 2 to submit the proof of funds?

We will apply in Czech Republic as we are currently living here.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Users shared their experiences with using bank statements from Revolut and Wise for visa applications. Most agreed that Wise can be accepted; however, there were reports of some embassies, like the one in Kuala Lumpur, refusing such documents. Revolut was also noted to function similarly, being recognized as a bank.

Any bank!!! Revolut and Wise are basically banks

Wise is certainly NOT a bank, Revolut is a bank in some countries.

sorry to disappoint you. It has an IBAN, bank insurance as any other bank and bank statements. Any other comment?

Before making such statements, you need to get better informed.

Even Wise themselves is saying that they are not a bank.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but you talk complete nonsense.

for such easy things like here it is bank enough. I am running companies via it for ages. Also not born yesterday.

And just to make a dot in this philosophical discussion:

I GOT MY VISA WITH WISE. dot

That you consider it looks enough like a bank is nice, and that it suffices for visa approval is good to know, but you just should not say I am wrong, while you are the one that is wrong about this. Apologies for your stubborn behaviour would have been better way to end this discussion than mentioning you got a visa approved with wise.

This certainly is not a philosophical discussion.

Well, technically yes, but there are still many institutions that don't allow transfer to and from Revolut (I have 3 different stock broker accounts and only one accepts Revolut for payments). I hope they will be recognised as proper bank from everybody in the near future...

the point is not a bank. The point to proof sufficient founds over certain period of time.

I submitted Wise. What is the difference for them? They want to see financial proof. That's it

I agree with you, but it happened personally in several occasions that Revolut or Wise was not accepted by some institutions, for whatever reason they had (that they rarely disclose).

The point, at the end, is that every embassy may or may not accept based on whatever they feel that day, but seems nobody has applied in Czechia so I will find out next months if they like Wise or Revolut.

Good to know that some accept Wise and/or Revolut, it gives some hope!

Yes you can.

But some embassies might say no.

Kuala lumpur embassy told me that they can’t accept it. So i applied in Vietnam instead and got it in 2 days.

That's what I was afraid of, every embassy is a gamble... I may just show the amount on both local bank and Revolut, that should work fine hopefully

Yes, wise can.
