Hi folks. I’m planning to go to Thailand (been previously for holidays but not to live) but would like to stay longer than the 30 day visa. I have an Irish passport and would like to stay for 6 months to maybe a year. If I like it and can make it work would like to stay longer. Can anyone help as to a visa that can do this or what’s the best way? Thanks

Anyone experienced on the rules of following your child's ed visa?

My question is: If you are the parent following your child's ed visa [guardian visa] and your child and their other parent leave Thailand to visit homeland for a holiday, do you have to travel with them, seeing that you are on that child's ed visa? Am I tied to this child's travel schedule?

Edit: The question was an open one for how you study Thai and get a visa since that can be done. You assume I want lazy visa?? I want to study in a school. Stop with the prejudice

One that offers a mixture of online and classroom options would be nice but classroom only option are fine as well.

Hi, I came here on a 60-day tourist visa (applied from NY Embassy) and will do my 30-day extension next week here in Chiang Mai - which will keep me til Feb.9th or so.

My question is can I get this extended again ie. special covid extension exemption?

I was planning on moving back to Vietnam in Feb - but with omicron, seems there re-opening is delayed.

So would like to stay in Thailand until things clear up.

If I can't, do you have any other suggested visa's (not interested in Elite Visa at this moment, but maybe in future).

Our Ed visa ends in November (we didn’t know you can no longer get language visa for two years. Only one now)😞 so we will go on the Covid extension. Do we need to cancel our language Ed visa first and what do we need to switch over? Thank you. 🙂

Hello everyone! So to provide some context, the company that’s supposed to hire me has to drop the employment due to covid. Im still looking to come into Thailand (Bangkok) in October and im in need of some visa advice.

If the company that’s supposed to hire me can still provide me with a non-b should I still enter the country with that or would it be better for me to enter with a tourist visa? Also is Thailand still giving out Ed visa?

Hi guys so I came over from the U.K. On a tourist visa January..got extended then left for Laos been refused twice for tourist visa.. have now used all my land border crossings with visa exemptions.. I would never dream about posting this in the other group but everyone seems a bit more relaxed.. I have family coming out next month to visit me and my gf in Yaso...what's my best option to stay here another month or 2 before I go back to U.K.. is this online visa an option ..or is there a method of flying which they will not give me any issues?...
