Many times it have been said here that working as digital nomad without a DTV, meaning on a visa waiver is not legal. Embassies tend to differ, I think, but I just found this news piece today, any thoughts?
Can someone help me understand. The visa says “work prohibited” but what about when you apply as a remote worker as someone who works online. Obviously you can’t get a new job or start up a business there but are you still allowed to work in Thailand for your UK company? I’m just trying to make it make sense.
Can anyone help please 🙏 I was told yesterday about a visa that allows you to look for work ,but hadn't heard of it before ,does anyone know any details x
I have a question about visa for Filipino helpers. I understand that they’re not allowed to work as domestic helpers in Thailand, is that true? Any way to work around that? Thank you 🙏
I want to open a Indian restaurant in Bangkok. 1) Can I bring in a cook (not chef) from india/nepal to work in a restaurant in Bangkok on contract? 2) Or do they need to show cooking course certificates. 3) Or only chefs (not cook) are permitted to come and work? 4) Or is this occupation reserved for locals only? Pls advice. Thanks.
Hi all .. I have a friend he holds the American nationality and he wants to come to Thailand and open a company, where we can find the requirements that he needs to establish the company and can he put non Thailand citizens in the company and make for them a work permit visa as employees?
