What is the process and timeline for obtaining a DTV visa in Thailand?

Thanks to this Group! Workation Approved!

I have got mine today at 11:00 a.m.

• I paid the fee on Oct 02

• Further Document Request

on Oct 06 asking to attach

Bank Book.

• I got the first Pending Approval on

07 Oct.

• Complete Silence till 14 Oct.

• Further Document Request on

Oct 15 morning : requesting 5

more documents.

• It took me 12 hours to complete

collecting all the documents.

• I submitted the requested papers

on Oct 15 around 6:00 p.m.

• This morning, on Oct 16, Status

changed to Pending Approval at

8:30 a.m.

• Then, at 11:30 A.m. , I got mine

approved.

It took me 11 working days.

⭕ My Suggestions for DTV applicants

(1) It took me around two months of preparations on both Financial proofs and necessary knowledge.

(2) The experience can be quite intimidating if you are not used to with E-visa application.

(3) Be genuine! Don't fake with papers. No matter you are with softpower or workation, you need to avoid forgery. Does trust to your agents as well. They may sell your Sensitive Data. If you really need help, find a reputable agent.

(4) Read more! You need knowledge and know how the system works.

(5) It was quite stressful and be prepared.
