Would someone be willing to explain how to obtain a DTV Soft Power visa? Do I have to use an agency, or can I do it myself? What would I need to do? Thank you for any advice.

Anyone here had a successful self application applying DTV from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia? How long did you stay in KL and what was the process like - ) thank you. Also, does age matter - applicant is 21 years old.

Looking for advice on DTV visa application

I’m currently preparing to apply for the visa and could use some help. I’ve searched through past posts and found some useful info, but I’d like to hear your suggestions.

I worked as an online English teacher for the past 2 years and finished my contract at the end of February. I have payment slips and will receive the final one next week. I started a new job mid-January as a private contractor and have payslips for the past two months, plus a contract and a letter from the company.

Since I’m now a contractor, I assume I need to apply as a freelancer. Do I need to provide a portfolio (I don’t have one for this role), or is a resume enough? Also, can I submit payslips from my previous job even though I’m no longer employed there? I also have proof of the required 500k baht in my account.

Any advice or experience would be appreciated!

Approved!! 5yr DTV Visa….It took 3 weeks…Currently hold an METV Visa valid until November 2024- I posted back in July that they requested additional documents-taxes, letter and paystub- Applied as remote worker..Glad to answer any questions 😀
