Was on YT last night and a video by Ben Heart from Intergrity Legal popped up regarding the DTV. Along with relaying a story from Phuket (I think from this group) about a person being denied entry because their 6 month soft power course was finished, he mentioned there has been some chatter that a turn is being made to make people apply for the DTV from their home country. No more popping in Vietnam, etc to apply. 

Has anyone seen or heard of this happening? I haven't, but it wouldn't be a surprise if this is the next adjustment after wanting people to sign up for more than a 6 month for the soft power category.

He was speaking of a story from someone who knows someone that it happened to. There has been 0 denials of entry based on the person's visa category being a dtv

ElegantKangaroo6467 Even though I don’t agree with the videos Ben makes, how do you know exactly what’s happening at the borders? Do you work in immigration? I highly doubt it.

PositiveLynx7934 I know because there is no proof and my personal experience. Show me one case that a person was denied entry otherwise you're just fear mongering.
