What should I say to immigration if my Soft Power course ends while on a Thailand DTV?

If I apply for a Thailand DTV under the Soft Power, the course is only for about one year. After the course ends, if I enter Thailand again, could the immigration officer ask why I am still coming to Thailand even though my course has already finished? Could this cause any problems?
Answer summary
If your Soft Power course under the Thailand DTV has ended and you re-enter Thailand, immigration officers may question your reason for visiting. However, responses from the community suggest they might still stamp your visa as long as you can prove you have ongoing training or activities related to your visa purpose. It has been noted that having supporting documentation or ongoing engagements can mitigate potential issues. The DTV is valid for five years, but stay informed about possible future changes in immigration procedures.

Yes, that is exactly what some people are already asked by de Immigration. So make sure that you have an ongoing course each time you enter the country and be able to prove it if the IO is asking. There were cases where the IO even called the school

No problem atm.

Might change for the new dtv holders someday I guess. But for now it’s all good.

9 months minimum though, not 6 not 3. Might be refused if so.

1. They won't ask you that.

2. If they do, you answer what DTV visa is for: tourism

3. Don't look for confirmation about people having trouble at entry with DTV, because you will only find ag*nts posting f*ke stories to make you buy their "vip fast track" services.

They might ask, but they will still stamp you in. Lots of the questions immigration asks are also used to build a database used to make adjustments to procedures, and visa requirements in the future. They have done this for decades. Your visa is valid for five years. Any changes they make between now, and then, will not affect you, until your five years runs out, and you apply for a new dtv. That is how Thailand operates.

When your course finishes, go to the DTV office in Nana Plaza and hand in your DTV. Then go straight to the airport :D
