Hi, I have a question about the non immigrant B visa. I have to go to Laos to apply for the visa as the embassy where I live would take too long. But the flights from here go via Bangkok anyway as there is no direct flight to Laos.

I was planning on flying into Bangkok for 1 night so I could leave my luggage there, then fly on to Laos the next day to go do my visa.

My question is, if I go through immigration in Bangkok for the night (I'm South African so I'd do the visa on arrival) Would that now affect my application for the non immigrant B visa in Laos? Should I not go through immigration?

Greetings oh wise tribe...I am a South African living in Singapore, desperate to see my South African parents. We've booked a week together in Thailand in March and have all the Thai passes approved already. I'm desperately trying to find info on whether it's possible for my parents to get their South African vaccination certificates recognized or authorized in Thailand, which would then allow them to enter Singapore on a VTL after 7 days spent in Thailand. The only vaccination certificates accepted to get on a VTL flight are vax certs from VTL countries. Praying someone has a lead 🙏

Can a South African apply for a tourist visa (two month) in Singapore? My last visa run I took to K.L. Malaysia and they had stopped giving S.A. people visas,( well you could get one if you waited a few weeks), I don't want to repeat the same thing for nothing in Singapore.

Hi guys. OK, I currently live in China and will return to Thailand end of the month. Fiance and I are getting married next month and I am thinking of getting a tourist visa so that I can change that to Non-O without having to leave the country. However South African don't need a visa for Thailand. So won't it look strange that I apply for a tourist visa? Also, the embassy here in Shanghai wants confirmed return tickets for tourist visas. What do I do about this?
