TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is confused about the e-visa application process, specifically about choosing the Special Tourist Visa (STV), as they only see the option for a Tourist Visa (TV). They seek to stay in Thailand for 271 days due to the impending birth of their son, but they are aware that a Tourist Visa allows a maximum stay of 60 days. Commenters suggest applying for a Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) which allows a 60-day stay, followed by a possible extension based on the birth of a half-Thai child.

I suggest getting a Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV). You can stay 60 days. Once you get the visa, and after the child is born, you can get parental rights and apply for a one year extension of stay based on raising a half-Thai child (if you have 400K THB in a Thai bank account).
