Went to CW today for stamping of Stay Extension ( marriage) after U/C period. Arrived 10am. Got SE stamped at L2 after taking queue number and a short wait. IO at L2 kindly made the necessary copies of passport for me because I told her that I was going to apply for a Reentry Permit and had the form and photo already. Got new queue number for reentry permit and everything complete and in the taxi home by 11am. Very efficient especially as I didn’t have an appointment for the reentry permit. ( I tried to make an appointment for reentry permit 3 weeks ago but none available)
Submitted my first Stay Extension request based on marriage today at CW. Went like clockwork. Appointment was booked for 2pm called to see IO at 2.03 pm finished at 2.27pm.Prepared a document submission checklist from information gleaned from this group ( thanks Tod and others). No additional copies required. IO commented that she was very impressed with our preparation. She checked some original documents. The only variation from this list was that she returned the second copy of the TM30 as only one copy was required. Note for people who have difficulty walking long distances wheelchairs are available at the security checkpoint near the door ( leave ID as security). UC until 15 July. IO said that my wife can bring my passport for stamping. I don’t need to attend. Note that I did bank letter, 6 months statement and book update at my local branch of Bangkok Bank in the morning and made copies at home. Note if going by Grab choose the Immigration Building B second floor option after you search for immigration in the app.
Hello, I plan on traveling to Thailand for about 35 days. I’m a Mexican citizen, but a U.S. permanent resident. What do I need to do to get a visa? I saw Mexicans can do VOA for 15 days, but I’ll obviously be there much longer. Please help. Thanks
If I apply for a 1 year stay extension based on marriage using 400k transferred to a Thai Bank account to meet the financial requirements then leave those funds in the account untouched can I use those funds to apply for a stay extension next year on the basis that they were transferred from overseas and have been in the account for more than 2 months? A friend told me that he has been doing this for years but I wanted to confirm that it is an acceptable practice.
Is there a possibility to extend a stay by about a week for medical reasons? This is for a dental procedure that requires roughly 3 weeks from beginning to end. I already received a 30 day extension to undertake this procedure but I've been informed that it would take a bit longer than expected. This would require an additional 8-10 days.
I have a question about when to apply for a 60day visa. I am arriving in Thailand on Feb 12th. I have applied and received my evisa . It says to use it by Feb 27th. Does that mean it is no good after that or I have to arrive before that date?
Can someone inform me the address of the immigration in bangkok to make an extention of stay and the extention is 30 or 45 days as the exempt entry on arrival.
I went to an immigration office because want yo know what can I do for a stay extension. I’m Peruvian, have 90 days (until july 23rd) and I don’t need a visa. They told me that I can apply for a covid extension (60 more days) for 1900 bahts. I have a couple of questions about that and maybe here you guys can help me:
1 - It’s pretty much sure to do that? I mean, I need to give them an explanation or they are giving them just “if you pay the fee”?
2- This is the most important one: Can I have any problem if after those 60 days I go out for a week and then come back to Thailand?
