Hello, I plan on traveling to Thailand for about 35 days. Iโm a Mexican citizen, but a U.S. permanent resident. What do I need to do to get a visa? I saw Mexicans can do VOA for 15 days, but Iโll obviously be there much longer. Please help. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Mexican citizen traveling to Thailand for 35 days cannot use the Visa on Arrival (VOA) which only grants 15 days. Instead, it's advisable to apply for a 60-day tourist visa at a Thai consulate in the U.S. prior to departure. Alternatively, the eVisa option is available, which allows for online application through the Thai consulate, followed by obtaining the visa via email. Additionally, there is the possibility to extend the initial tourist visa for 30 more days at an immigration office within Thailand.
it would appear they are not 'at home' (as in mexico) but in the US or that's how I read their post and if they are in Mexico they can't use the eVisa system
They'd have to apply at the thai consulate in Mexico City
Yes I referred to his permanent residence, but he could apply for a tourist visa anywhere, the restrictions are as you points out regarding the e-visa system.

If you don't buy a tourist visa from the thai consulate in the US before you wing your way here, you're only gonna be here for 15 days on the Visa On Arrival that you buy when you land and go to stamp in here ๐ฎ
Sadly being a permanent resident of the US doesn't cut any ice getting in to thailand ๐
BUT
it would let you use the eVisa site that the thai consulates in the US all use so you could apply for a tourist visa online

Make a profile, log in, etc and apply for a single entry tourist visa at the thai consulate based on where you are in the US.
It's all done online, they will email you the visa as a PDF that you print out and give with your passport when you stamp in. You will get stamped in for 60 days and you can extend that one time for 30 more days at the immigration office where you stay for 1900baht after you're here
