Can anybody give me an approximate price for a tourist visa obtained from the government building in Bangkok to the uk.
I’m thinking I might be overcharged by a fare amount as what amount I’ve been told
Thanks Paul.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Several users provided insights into the costs associated with applying for a UK tourist visa in Bangkok. A typical fee is approximately ฿4,000 to ฿7,000 for the visa itself, with additional fees if using an agent. The Standard Visitor visa fee is around £115, and using services such as VFS Global can incur additional costs. It's noted that applicants may end up paying for both the agency and embassy fees, leading to a total that could exceed ฿10,000.
Marriage visitors visa last year cost us about ฿6-7000 with additionals such as priority service.
If you're using an agent though you're going to pay through your arse for it. We were quoted 25k+.

Got one for my lady last year, it was about 5000 baht, although she paid a little extra (a few hundred baht) to VFS for additional service, which I think gave her priority service when she went in to do her biometrics

It tells you how much on goverment website, cannot remember exactly cost of wifes last one was about 4000 ish baht
you can't buy the tourist visa from your embassy any more. You need to go through the VFS Global agency. You pay twice - the agency AND the embassy fee
