Can anybody give me an approximate price for a tourist visa obtained from the government building in Bangkok to the uk.
I’m thinking I might be overcharged by a fare amount as what amount I’ve been told
Thanks Paul.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the costs associated with obtaining a UK tourist visa from Bangkok. Participants mention that the costs vary, typically ranging from around 4,000 to 7,000 baht for the visa itself, with additional fees if using agents or additional services such as prioritizing biometrics. Some users noted paying an agent's fee that significantly increased the overall expense.
Got one for my lady last year, it was about 5000 baht, although she paid a little extra (a few hundred baht) to VFS for additional service, which I think gave her priority service when she went in to do her biometrics
you can't buy the UK tourist visa from your embassy any more. You need to go through the VFS Global agency. You pay twice - the agency AND the embassy fee
