I’m in Pattaya now and want to arrange for a UK tourist visa for my girlfriend to come and stay with me in the Uk for 6months. Anyone able to recommend an agent I can go and talk to? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking recommendations for an agent to help facilitate a UK tourist visa for his girlfriend, who is currently in Pattaya. Multiple comments suggest that it is preferable to apply for the visa independently rather than through an agent, as this can save money and provide a clearer understanding of the requirements. Key advice includes the necessity of sufficient documentation to prove ties to Thailand, such as employment verification and family connections, along with financial support documentation for the stay in the UK. Recommendations for specific agents and services, as well as warnings about potential obstacles in the application process, were shared.

You don't need an agent, just do it yourself.
Ive done many for my Thai wife and for friends of mine that have Thai wives and girlfriends with a 1st time approved application.
This was my wife's last application so be prepared to do some paperwork.
Be aware that you will need to provide your last 6 months bank statements that she will see when she submits the application so be sure you really want to start this application.
Also UK immigration will want to know if she has visited any other countries and also if she has been refused a visa for another country. Going through this process can open a huge can of worms, so again please make sure she is the one that you want to do this with and your not just taking her to the UK as a trophy girlfriend to show off to your mates.
The first time I took my wife (then girlfriend) to the UK she asked me if the UK has Agogo bars so me and my mates took her to a strip club. One of the strippers in there got jealous of her and threw a stiletto at her head. Not only did i feel bad for her I had a right carry on with the bouncers after i tried to launch the cow off the stage.
They miss Thai food.
They never get over the jet lag.
Its not all sail plaining so have a good think about it before you want to take her there.
Good luck. 👍

Have offices here in Thailand and in the UK and all of the UK Visa applications are fully regulated by the solicitors regulatory authority back in the UK. In 2022 and 2023, they have had he 100% success rate for all UK Visa applications.
They offer a free no obligation conference with the UK immigration director who is a qualified solicitor within the UK, who will assess your circumstances and the merits of the application and discuss any questions that you may have. The benefit for the applicant is that they can speak in Thai with the Thai lawyers here and for the sponsor. You can speak in English both here in Thailand and in the UK. I hope this assists

Easy Visa , about £500 total , you’ll need to supply your residence & bank dets , that show you can support her during her stay, showing that she won’t be doing ‘ any ‘ work during her stay also
If she has children under 18 doesn't own land and don't have a bank account she won't be going to the uk

Don’t use an agent, do it yourself and you will get to know the exact terms, the visit is based upon.

Much easier to get her a ticket to north Africa make way to France then get a dingy halfway across

You will need to provide evidence that she's coming back to Thailand Ie kid's and a job or a home and money to spend in England, some sort of family life is going to be sure that she is going back home after the holiday

You still have to provide the agent with all the relevant information. All UK visa applications are processed at the visa processing centre in India. Easier to do it yourself, just work through the online application and save it as you go along. Easy to return to it the next day. I've done 2x UK visas, 3x Aussie visa and 1x Schengen visa for my lady over the last eight years and they basically want the same info. Critical info is Statement of Employment from her employer, showing position, length of service and salary; payslips; bank account statements; property title deeds. They just want to make sure she has a reason to return. Once you've submitted the application, you make an appointment at VFS to do the biometrics. The whole process takes around 3-4 weeks
that is incorrect, they are documented there and then sent to India for assessment, only fiance and spouse visas are dealt with within the UK. Everything else is outsourced globally, but nothing is dealt with in regionally in VFS centres.
I couldn't see the British Home Office outsourcing visa applications to a Thai agency (which is effectively what VFS is). Could you imagine the rorts? It would make the Royal Thai Police look tame!
VFS Global aren't a Thai agency. They're a global agency based in Switzerland. They deal with British passports and visas, they carry out the interviews for visas at their Bangkok offices.
Yeah I know that. They also do Australian and German visas as well as a myriad of others, but VFS in Bangkok is staffed by Thai people. That's what I was referring to. Never mind
Only the Admin side is staffed by Thais, just the same as admin at the British Embassy is staffed by Thais and the Thai Embassy in London is admin staffed by Brits. They're not making the decisions as you suggested!
