My wife thai living in the uk for over 5 year soon will have uk citizenship she has a daughter in Thailand 13 years of age now wanting to live in the uk as my wife’s mother passed away few months ago which type of visa would we make any one else been in this situation ? Any good input greatly appreciated

This is actually a UK question if anybody can help. I married a Thai lady last June, she is currently travelling on a 5 year tourist visa. I want to get her UK citizen. Is there an easier way than spouse visa, then another spouse visa etc which takes years. As I am in late 60s this may take too long. she speaks English, had a current TB Test.

Also is there any benefit to her changing her Thai ID card to my surname?

Hi, anyone know if i'm transiting through Hanoi Vietnam from Bangkok to Uk with stopover in Hanoi 20hrs. Do i need a visa to leave the airport? I've read conflicting answers.

Hi guys, wishing to apply online for the 60 day tourist visa but the FAQ is contradictory (below link). I'm in Cambodia and from the UK and the "Am I eligible to apply online?" input line says "Permanent Residency/Current Location". In my case these are 2 entirely different things, and putting UK/Cambodia makes me either eligible or ineligible for applying! I would assume I should put my permanent residency but knowing Thai red tape it's very unwise to assume anything. I also understand where you apply from can be as critical owing to your citizenship or residency or location, especially with COVID. Can anyone shed any light on whether I can indeed apply online?

Moving with family to live in BKK this Summer.

Myself and 2 sons have UK and Thai passports. Husband on UK passport only.

To enter Thailand -

1. Should me and my sons use our Thai or UK passports (and get 1 year extension on the basis of being Thai)? Any advice on advantages or disadvantages of using either passport. (Thought using UK passport would be more convenient to travel to Europe etc but not sure if we have to do 90 day reporting )

2. Can we use the passports interchangeably? For eg. In and out of THA on Thai passport and in and out of UK on UK passport? Which passport would you check-in with?

3. Is it best to apply for Non-O Spouse visa for husband before entering THA or convert while there? At the mo, we can only get single entry but we plan to fly from Singapore- BKK - LDN - BKK

Sorry if this has been answered but I can’t see it. With the new e visa scheme I will be travelling from Turkey but can get the e visa by being from the UK. Does anybody know if I would need to travel from the UK?
