Hello,
This is advanced question:
I have a little daughter who will be enrolled in a kindergarten in Thailand and will apply for an Education (ED) Visa.
In addition to proof that her tuition and living expenses are covered, she is also required to provide a sponsor letter.
Her mother will stay with her in Thailand under a Non-Immigrant visa for a non-Thai family member residing in Thailand.
The sponsor letter for our daughter will be provided by her father, who will be staying in Thailand under a DTV visa.
My questions are:
1. Apart from showing financial evidence of THB 30,000, what other financial requirements apply to the mother?
2. What exactly should the sponsor letter for our daughter include?
3. Is there a specific minimum amount that the father must show in order to sponsor the child and have her ED visa approved?
Based on the information on the official website, no additional financial requirement is specified. Therefore, it appears that the father would need to show the THB 500,000 required for his DTV application, the mother would need to show THB 30,000, and we would also need to provide proof of payment or financial coverage for our daughter’s tuition and living expenses.
Would this be sufficient for all three visa applications?
