My 1 year marriage visa expires on 15 November. As I am currently oversees I wonder how many days maximum my husband and me must present to immigration office to renew the visa. Can we read this info somewhere? Thank you

you can apply for a new extension at most immigration offices when you have 30 days or less left on your current stamp. So if your husbands extension expires 15 Nov, you can apply from Oct 16 onward.

You will apply, get a 30 day under consideration stamp and then go back to get the year extension inked in

In ID1 (CW) you can apply for extension starting from 45 days before expiry. I did that in 2018. However, I don't know if something didn't change since then.

they are asking the LAST day they could apply not the earliest 🙂 I am aware that some offices are 45 days before but if I just says MOST offices are 30 it's easier to get people to wrap their heads around :)

thank you. It's about my visa, my husband is Thai. I like to know what is the last day in those 30 days I can show up at immigration. So From 16 October onwards to 1 week before or even 3 days before? Thank you

I just extend my visa (Thai wife) today 18th. My stamp on passport is 22nd. I normally do it min 1 week before. But due to certain reason this year, had to do it much closer than previous few extension

you just run the risk of NOT having everything you need and running out of time because you applied too close to the expiration date 😮

, the last day you can apply for your extension is the last day on your current stamp. it is 15 Novemberin your case.

nope, not written anywhere I know of

but

even if you apply on the last day of your current extension it's fine IF you have everything correct and have no hiccups.

That's because if you wait until the last day and you get it wrong, you run on overstay trying to correct it
