ORIGINAL POSTER
Yesterday, 5th August, I renewed my Non O (Retirement) Visa. Does my 90 days reporting period reset from yesterday or does it continue from my last date of entry into Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you renew your Non O (Retirement) Visa in Thailand, the 90-day reporting period typically continues from your last entry date unless the immigration office provides a new reporting date in your passport during the renewal. Many users note that if the immigration issues a new slip with an updated date, then you follow that; otherwise, it continues from the original entry stamp. Individual experiences may vary based on local immigration office practices.

I’ve just been through the same issue. My 90 day was automatically expired by immigration on the same day my visa was due for renewal. So I renewed my visa then went online and renewed my 90 day report. So in my case it wasn’t linked to my original date of entry.

NON-O since 2014, every year they gave me a blue slip in my passport with the date I have to do the 90 days report. Stsrting from the day of the renewal stamp.

It goes off your last stamp, I been in thailand since may 2nd, upgraded to student visa new stamp june 19th, I dont have to report 90 days from june 19th i have been in thailand the whole time. When at immigration I asked about 90 day report they told me 90 days from new stamp

From date of last 90 report

If this was your first extension your 90 day report will be 89 days after it was granted, if not it continues from your last entry

It depends. If the immigration office put a slip with a new date in your passport then you go by that, if they didn't stick with the original date

Its on the anniversary of entry into Thailand, however some offices will not issue a date beyond when your visa ext runs out, check the slip of paper given on your last 90 day report.

The 90 days still runs from the day you entered Thailand last time or did your first extension of stay, unless they put a new note with a new 90 days date in your passport during your renewal.

Don’t act like he couldn’t get two different answers from two different immigration officers. 🤣
