I had a meeting with my company directors last night.

As i am applying for Type O visa in London early October to fully emigrate under a 12 month extension based on marriage.

The directors have requested would I be able to continue working for them (fully remote as I do here in the UK) but on a part time basis.

Is this allowable on a marriage visa?

All payments would not be remitted into Thailand as I have enough savings to live in Thailand.

Hi everyone,

I’m applying for the DTV and had a question. Would it be allowed to hire someone locally in Thailand to assist with ongoing tasks related to my remote work?

It wouldn’t be employment under a Thai company, just freelance support for my own work, which I do independently.

Has anyone done something similar or know if this is permitted under the DTV? Appreciate any guidance!

Separate issue from visa, but I'm wondering if anyone here knows.

I read that private schools don't have the same labor laws as other companies. Does anyone know the differences between the protections of a regular employee vs and private school teacher?
