Do I Need to Update My TM30 After a Border Run and Hotel Stay?

Hi, I just got back to Chiang Mai after doing a border run to Mae Sai for a 30 day stamp. Do I need to go to immigration here tomorrow to update my tm30?

I stayed one night in Chiang Rai last night before coming back to CM, and I assume the hotel filed a tm30 for me there, if it makes any difference?

Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
It is necessary to visit the Immigration Office to update your TM30 after returning from a border run, even if your hotel in Chiang Rai filed one on your behalf.

Don't assume anything. My landlord didn't file a TM30 and I've been living at my accomodation and reminding my landlord about the TM30 for 3 months.

Because I've only ever been told that I need to ask my landlord to do the TM30; no-one has said that I can do it myself. First time I've heard that.

Why not GO file a Tm30 on your own?

If you were a good friend you would have done it already

Can his condo / apartment office not do it for him instead?
