My ED visa will expire in mid-Sept. and I'm exploring options. Have you heard of any instances of one switching from ED to tourist exemption without leaving the country (and then later going on amnesty)? Thanks!

Hi I currently have a Thai multi tourist visa but it will run out 23r February while I’m overseas . 

I’m due to go back to Thailand 26th February . Do you think it will be alright to just enter on a tourist exempt for 30 days ? And then after I leave and am back in Australia I can apply for another multi visa . Should be ok ?
