Do I have to wait until my main application is approved before I can submit applications for my wife and children? Or is it enough that I've already submitted and paid for mine as proof?

In response to the inquiry about whether one can submit applications for dependents (wife and children) while their own Thai visa application is still pending, the consensus is clear: you must wait until your main application is approved. This is because applications for dependents require the visa reference number from the main applicant. As such, once the main visa is issued, then the dependent applications can be submitted. It's also advised to ensure that sufficient funds (at least 500,000 THB for each applicant) are available at the time of application.

You need to wait because there is a chance that your application gets rejected. Once you get approved, your dependents can apply also. Make sure you have 500k for each applicant, including you
You can’t get a dependant visa by virtue of having an ongoing DTV application. Only once your visa is issued, can you go through and submit the applications for your wife and child.
