What are the cash requirements and TDAC procedures for travelers entering Thailand on a non-O visa?

I'm due to travel on 21st September into BKK on a non-O visa. I have a Thim app and have filled in all the required information except the medical stuff which they say needs to be done 72 hours before hand. I have 2 questions, the first being does anybody have an idea of baht is asked ? I want to avoid any gotcha's 3 days before I travel and secondly, do I also need to complete a TDAC or does the Thim App now replace the TDAC. I have seen conflicting info on this. Thanks

A traveler entering Thailand on a non-O visa is expected to have an amount of 20,000 THB or an equivalent sum in a major currency upon arrival. This is not always strictly enforced. Regarding the TDAC, it can be filled out using either the THIM app or its website, but if the THIM is completed correctly, a separate TDAC submission may not be necessary. The medical component required in the app needs to be completed within 72 hours prior to arrival, and it is unclear whether this requires an actual doctor visit or can merely be self-certified.

Your coming in on a non-o you shouldn’t be asked for anything as that’s a retirement visa ,don’t know what your filling out about medical but I wouldn’t just do the TDAC online within 3 days of arriving

Can use either apps. Thim is newer which includes and reports same as TDAC

You complete within 72 hours of arrival.  Both are free .  There is no reference to Baht.  You should though have 20,000 baht or equivalent in your currency in case asked by IO on arrival,

THIM and TDAC are interconnected so if you complete the THIM correctly separate TDAC is not required, hence the 3 days before restriction as this is a TDAC requirement
