I’m new to the group and looking for some advice.
I may have dropped a clanger even in the extensive maybe frenzied research with AI but any constructive advice is greatly appreciated.
I have been speaking with a visa agent but this part seems vague.
Arriving 17 October. I'll be on a Non-Immigrant O (retirement) and applying for the one-year extension here using the 800,000 baht method.
My son is 15 and travelling on a 60-day tourist visa. The plan is to extend him 30 days, then convert him to a dependent Non-O and get his own one-year extension once mine is stamped.
Has anyone done this in Hua Hin?
• How did the timing work, given my extension has to be granted before his application can go in?
roughly what did it cost?
• Anything you'd do differently?
Flights and visas are booked, so I'm looking for how to make this route work rather than alternatives.
Grateful for anyone who's actually been through it.
Thanks in Advance.
