I hope you’re all doing well. My husband, my daughter, and I are planning to move to Thailand, and I’m currently applying for the DTV (Thai Soft Power) visa from France. I have a few questions about the process and would greatly appreciate your guidance:
1. For the Thai Boxing Club that I’m applying to as part of my DTV visa, should I pay the fees in advance, or is it enough to simply obtain an invitation letter from them at this stage?
2. Regarding the embassy fees, do I need to pay them once the visa is approved, or should I pay when submitting the application?
3. What is the minimum duration required for the activity? Is six months sufficient?
4. If I pay in advance and my visa application is denied, will the fees be refunded?
Also, if anyone has any general advice or recommendations for families moving to Thailand under the DTV visa, I’d love to hear them!
