I have 2 questions in the bottom.

But for some explanation.

I am pending approval for the DTV

Requirements 1 to 4 I have.

I am only missing no 5

I have paid the fee and they wanted additional information regarding being a freelancer.

( I have been self-employed since I was young )

Most of my customers and wholesale is done online from Danish customers ( I been living in Bulgaria since 2020 )

I have provided additional documents showing statements of remote work.

( I hope that it will get approved ).

However IF the additional documents is not proof enough, maybe because my income from this source is diminishing.

My focus since I left Denmark, is more on my investments.

Sow if not approved I am ready to apply again an the use the Thai soft power approach.

Proof of confirmation to attempt the activity.

Under Eligible Foreingers is sad

2 participates in activities such as

- Thai cooking classes

- Muay Thai courses

I called the embassy in Bucharest to ask about the 5b and what Thai cocking class school / classes will count towards no 5 b Thai soft power. ?

The only answer I got it was a question back, if I was a cook.

That confuse me !

Is this correct that if I want to apply via 5 b Thai soft power Thai cooking classes.

I shall be a Cook first ?

Next question will be if I choose to take Muay Thai courses

Do I have to be a karate black belt

hope somebody can clarify this for me or point me in a direction where it stayed it more clearly than in the picture below.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the requirements for the Thai soft power visa activities, specifically asking if prior cooking experience is necessary for Thai cooking classes and whether a black belt in karate is required to participate in Muay Thai courses. They have provided some context about their current visa situation and the difficulties encountered with embassy communications.

Would you recommend me to book a time to Thai embassy in Laos

Is there any agency business you recommend in Phuket where I can get some assistants to obtain a DTV

Each embassy sets their own requirements. Unless someone else has tried using the exact same paperwork as you at the exact same embassy, their information will not be of much use. The embassy decides what they will and will not accept.

So I can actually go to Thailand on a tourist Visa first and find a rental property and register to attend a Thai cooking class ( Bring proof of attending )

Number 5 is the only one giving me some Challenges.

Take a boad trip to George Town Malaysia

Apply once again to the Thai embassy in George Town and that means new eyes new interpretation off number 5 b :

Thai soft power: Proof of confirmation to attend the activity

Activities such as

- Thai Cooking classes

Or

- Muay Thai courses

Do I understand this correct ?

I hope Malaysia is on the list otherwise I have to travel to Laos if they are on the list

Sometimes I like it when I have somebody I can talk to while filling out the papers

I think I have to be outside king of Thailand to apply to DTV

By if it is all online

What is the idea off this rule that I physically have to be in Malaysia ?
Brandon ************
@Jorgen ******
because applying online doesn't change that you must apply with the Thai embassy where you physically are. They will require you to prove that you are in the country as part of your application.

@Jorgen ******
that's all correct except you cannot apply in person in Malaysia anymore. They have switched to e-visa so you would travel to Malaysia then apply for your visa through the e-visa website, choosing the consulate that you want to process your application. The only SE Asia embassy that still accepts in person applications are in Laos and they require an appointment.
