I recently applied in uk for a non 0 visa and got. A confirmation e mail straight away.

About a week later i got another e mail asking for 2 further documents which were sent as requested, but have not had another e mail confirming they have got them.

Question is do they send another e mail confirming receipt .

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about receiving an email confirmation for documents submitted for a non O visa application in the UK. Various community members responded, indicating that while confirmation emails are usually sent upon initial application, further communications regarding document submissions typically occur through the e-visa portal rather than email. The consensus is to regularly check the portal for updates, especially considering recent public holidays which may delay processing.

You should be looking on the evisa portal for all your communications and status.

indeed, what is the status of your application on your dashboard, "Pending approval"?

Maybe it was worded wrongly but my docs were sent to the portal not by e mail, all i needed to know was when requested docs were sent..

Do you get the automated reply saying they were received just the same as when you first apply i will check the portal and see if anything is on there..

Many thanks to everyone for replying

London do seem very slow ATM, my non O and husbands (applied 1.12.25) have been pending approval since 6.12.25. We don’t travel until 20.1.26 so not panicking yet.

the London office is just operating at the expected times rather than quicker. The website says 14 working days and as its their busiest time then this is their commitment

@Graeme *****
17 working days for us so far (unless there has been Thai holidays that I’m not aware of)

I applied on 23rd November and nothing yet. Status is "pending approval" and we fly on 14th January so I am getting a bit concerned now ! No response from them on email or phone ! Eeek ... that's 21 working days so far !

I know, it makes for even more stress doesn’t it. But think they are probably issuing them according to flight dates.

@Heidi *******
you could be right as a friend of mine applied on 9th December with flight booked on 23rd December ! He got his visa 10 days later on the 19th ! Just concerned in case there's an issue and I have to go back to the start of the queue. Good luck with yours 🤞🙏

You normally don’t respond and send by email but upload additional documentation directly in the e-visa portal.

I had same confirmation came about 10 days later

You normally cant send the sponsor letter/bank statements on the same attachment so they then email and open a link up on the portal. Usually 5ish working days later you get you approval email. Bear in mind Thailand has just had 2 public holidays so allow just a bit longer.

Have you checked the visa portal for your latest status?
