Where is the change to the health insurance requirement for Non O-A visa gazetted ? it was reduced from B3m to B450k a while back some foreign embassies are still asking for the 3m 🤔 is this just for first time requests or are they not up to date with recent changes - checked all the usual places very unclear…..

Hi folk, we will be moving to our house in Chiang Mai in January. I will be applying for a spouse visa for myself.

My question is actually about vehicle insurance, as we will be purchasing a car shortly after arriving. To purchase the car, it will obviously be in the bossladys name, however, she doesn't drive.

Will I be able to tax, and insure the vehicle on a first class policy despite the vehicle being registered to her ?

I'll be applying for a Long Stay Visas (OA, OX) this year and i'm just trying to get my head around the two Insurance requirements and the difference between them.

1. Foreign Insurance Certificate issued from the country where the application is submitted

2. Health Insurance issued by a Thai or foreign insurer for general illnesses

Are these two seperate insurance policies?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you send up in hospital quarantine because you test positive for COVID at the AQ, how is it billed? Direct to AXA?

Insurance advice!!

Iv already got Thai axa insurance and got my Thai pass using that. But looking into it 1.75 million Thai baht for medical cover doesn’t seem a lot when you compare to it others. I feel like Iv rushed into it just so I could get a Thai pass

Does everyone think this is enough cover if anything bad was to happen or I was wondering to take out another insurance with more money cover but not sure if I can have 2 insurance policies at the same time.

Any information would be great

Thanks

I have a bank account with Kasikorn bank in Pattaya, to do this I took out an insurance policy for 6 years and this has now matured.

My question is will the savings account remain open until I can return to Thailand and will O be able to access my savings in my insurance policy.

I have a question about health insurance. I'm thinking of taking out a health insurance with a quite high deductible to keep the premium at a reasonable level. But I already have an insurance with my Thai bank that covers me for up to 50000 per time in hospital. I'm thinking of running both insurances to cover for the big event and for the small event? Has anyone done this? Is it legal?
