TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around a user's inquiry about choosing between AXA and AIA for health insurance in Thailand. Participants emphasize the importance of policy details such as cost, deductibles, hospital limits, and clauses regarding pre-existing conditions rather than the insurance companies themselves. An independent insurance expert offers to help make an informed decision. Additionally, another user suggests Cigna as an alternative, while a retiree expresses interest in AIA, seeking advice on applying for a plan suited to older individuals.

I want to know more about AIA health insurance. I’ll be arriving in Thailand in August timeframe of this year and I would like to apply for this health insurance plan. I’m 70 years old retiree from the military and from a regular job I collect Social Security. I don’t know if you know about what is Social Security, so if you could contact me on Facebook oh, what’s up app

are you insured with them? What is your premium if I may ask? How old are you? What’s your yearly coverage and baht/room/day if hospitalized? Are you covered OPD? Is it an international health care protection?

Hi Yvan dm me I can help I’m independent and have 25 years experience doing this and not tied to either or any one insurer and as the other person correctly said it’s about a few things that you have to take into consideration

Please do not rush buy into anything talk with me first let’s make an informed decision

Does it all not depend upon what’s written in the policy. Cost, deductible, hospital limits, pre existing conditions clauses ? Not so much about the companies
