thanks for this. I tried to Google this and all I could find was fit to fly wasn't required for entry into countries but couldn't find anywhere about it not being required to get on the plane at Suvarnabhumi airport. Do you have a link please for this?

Is this the 1st time we have heard of 60 day Covid extension being changed in country for a 3 month non O visa? I ask because a few months ago I asked about my situation of coming off an almost 6 year elite visa and wanting to move onto a non O retirement plus extensions etc without leaving the country. The best replies at the time were to apply for the Covid extension to break the elite cycle and see if you can then get a non O without leaving the country. Looks like the OP can confirm this is possible.

thanks for this. Another elite is out of the question for me. Not just the cost but with elderly parents on both sides who knows what the next 5 years will bring.

thanks for the prompt reply. Let's hope in 6 months things change a bit or it's time to start thinking about Plan B.

My wife and i are 2 years into our 5 year Elite visa. Money well spent in our opinion. Peace of mind and less hassle are of great value to us.
