TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is unsure whether to indicate their duration of stay in Thailand based on the end date of their two-year condo lease or to use a shorter duration of 176 days aligned with their intended departure. Comments reveal differing opinions on the subject, including points on the maximum allowed stay of 180 days and the possibility of applying for an Extension of Stay.
It’s wild all these conflicting opinions. Who’s had their DTV approved? Lol

I took a date a couple of months ahead but under the 180 days. I think it was like 151 days

You are allowed to be 180 days in Thailand and you can apply for an Extension of Stay for another 180 days. This makes your maximum stay 360 days and than you have to leave.
That you are willing to pay a lease for two years have nothing to do with it.
