Another question concerning the

NON-IMMIGRANT VISA (O) RETIREMENt Visum

They wanna know the duration of stay. What if I can only prove I have accommodation for the first few days?

Because i am not exactly sure where i go after the first 7 days in bangkok and i wanna decide in Thailand.

Is that a problem?

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The duration of stay for a NON-IMMIGRANT VISA (O) Retirement Visa typically does not require proof of accommodation for the entire period. Applicants usually just need to provide an address, and many have been accepted with only short-term accommodation arrangements. Therefore, it is generally not a problem if you can only show accommodation for the initial days.

your very welcome πŸ™ I was also worried about the same issue as I'm travelling on the 20th and only got approval just before Xmas but I do intend to go straight to immigration the first morning I awake in Thailand with my Thai GF and a TM30 from the hotel so I can obtain a residence certificate for her address to obtain a phone contract and a bank account in UBON Ratchathani buddy, I've read that you're expected to report to immigration within 24 hours of arrival to sort out non-o requirementsso best to do sooner than later, I hope my GF can explain to the IO about me staying at her address as I only booked 4 nights so we're in the city early next day as we live about 40k from centre, Good Luck BTW πŸ‘

I think the application just asks for an address doesn't it? I don't recall it asking for an actual booking. You don't normally need to provide proof of booking for your entire stay.

How long staying at the address? I own the condo, there was no option "until I die" or "forever". I just said what the Non O visa 90 days last possible date says, from the day of entry into Thai, 90 days.

Wht else, even a few days at any address would do.

isn't that asking about how long you'll be in Thailand? Not about how long you're staying there? It's been a few years since I filled out an e-visa.

There is a field "Accommodation in Thailand" and then "Duration of stay". You can add more Accomodations but you always must specify the length of your stay. This is strange because most of the long term travellers don't have an exact plan, where they go within the 90 days.
