Hello all,

I go in April to Thailand. First quarantine in BKK and then fly to Udon to meet my girlfriend. For day 5 testing I will book SHA+ hotel in Udon, but I was wondering if it's allowed that my gf stays with me then? As we already be together then for 4 days.

Has anyone been completely ready to go, everything solid and prepared, but then their PCR test came back positive?

I think there is a chance that could happen for me and I’m trying to figure out what I will need to do. Basically that would completely prevent me from traveling now.

So I would need to postpone my flight (for example by a month which should hopefully be enough time to test negative), find a place to stay in my current country until I can test negative to leave, ask the AQ+ hotel to postpone to a later date, reapply for Thailand pass, try again later. Am I missing anything else? Any thoughts of recommendation?

Thanks

Hi all, I know there is no way of being certain on this as things are always changing, however, I’m looking to book my flights and gather documentation to travel to Bangkok on 28th December. Am I being optimistic with this new variant in the news? Or do we think this might be ok? Any tips or advice on perhaps booking a flexi ticket or any kind of insurance that would cover my flight if things are to change would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks 😊

TM30 Question:

I’m in 7 quarantine scheduled to leave tomorrow morning ( Friday Nov-5).

I will stay with a friend a few days then upcountry a few days until my condo is available for me to move into. I’m on a 60 TR, plan to change to non-O based on over 50.

Do I need to do any further TM30 outside of what the quarantine hotel submitted on my initial arrival.?

My condo lease doesn’t start until 10/11/21… Will this cause any problems when going for future extension.?

Thanks in advance

Question: I heard that in the sandbox model, due to one passenger testing positive for covid-19, they quarantined the other remaining passengers on that flight. Can anyone confirm if it's true, and is this the actual policy (you still get quarantined if you test positive? ) Kind of defeats the purpose of setting up a bubble of vaccinated people if you still quarantine for positive tests ...
