Can my girlfriend stay with me at the SHA+ hotel in Udon after day 5 testing in Thailand?

Hello all,

I go in April to Thailand. First quarantine in BKK and then fly to Udon to meet my girlfriend. For day 5 testing I will book SHA+ hotel in Udon, but I was wondering if it's allowed that my gf stays with me then? As we already be together then for 4 days.

Just stick it to the rules, already in Thailand, a day or two surely can wait 🙄 And April even though just 2 months away, is considered way too ahead, simply because it's Amazing Thailand.

1) April is still a "long time" , nobody knows what the rules will be by then.

2) If I were in your case, I wouldn't risk to have gf come stay together on that 5th day. Because if you would test positive, she could be in trouble because she was in high risk close contact.

If you test positive and she doesn't stay with you that day, she can just do some ATK self testing and self isolate if necessary instead of risking being held hostage by the hotel/ hospital and paying too much for whatever forced quarantaine and unnecessary medicines.

bad advice. You most likely booked TP under old test n go arrangement. No hotel needed for day 5 then. New arrangements you need hotel for day 5 - too many idiots who didnt show up for their free day 5 test.

When i did sandbox wife was not allowed to stay with me until after 1st test results but subsequent tests she was. This is new so personally think you need to check with hotel what the goverment guidelines are.

UPDATED! TEST & GO scheme resumed from 1 February 2022

All new TEST & GO Thailand Pass applications must submit proof of prepayment for 2 RT-PCR tests and accommodation (SHA Extra Plus (SHA++), AQ, OQ, or AHQ) on Day 1 and Day 5, as well as a prearranged transfer on Day 1.

All new TEST & GO applications must submit A proof of prepayment for 2 separate nights of accommodation at government-approved hotel/s, such as, SHA Extra Plus (SHA++), AQ, OQ, or AHQ on Day 1 and Day 5, and the expenses for 2 RT-PCR tests on Day 1 and Day 5. The prepayment for Day 1 must include an accommodation, a test and a prearranged transfer from the airport to the hotel.

Travellers can book 2 different hotels for the accommodation on Day 1 and Day 5. However, on both Day 1 and Day 5, they must stay within the room for the RT-PCR test result.
