I hope to visit Thailand on a 30-day visa exemption. What are the steps I need to take to enter?

I'll get the visa at the airport. Is the ThaiPass straightforward? Do I need covid insurance? I'm full vaccinated (if that matters).

Spent hours yesterday trying to apply for my Thailand pass. I got as far as, booking confirmation. When I was searching the list for my Sha+ hotel, it wasn’t there? Also it was asking for the province. I’m staying in Phuket. Any help with this please?

Hi everyone, I need some help with something.

I’m currently helping my partners mother arrange her trip to Thailand this month.

She’s fully vaccinated so she will be entering with SHA+ and staying in Koh Samui with the test and go.

I was helping her fill out her Thailand Pass application, but we’re stuck on one part where we have to give the address of our SHA+ hotel, but Surat Thani province is not on the list…Has this happened to anyone? At first I thought it was a glitch but after refreshing the page, Surat Thani is still not on the list of provinces to choose from.

Any ideas on what can be done?

I’m currently swimming in it, currently got flights and sha+ accommodation booked once arriving in Bangkok.

However after booking myself and my partner have noticed it only states one airport transfer and one pcr is Included and after looking at all the available hotels there is no option to have one room with 2 rt pcrs? Is this correct? Surley we don’t have to book 2 separate rooms seems like a bit of a scam 😩

Sorry, another online visa question. After looking through the embassy website in Los Angeles, it appears that you first apply online for a visa(60 day tourist) and then for the ThaiPass. It says that you only need a bank statement and flight booking to apply for the visa and then you need the SHA+ Hotel and Insurance certificate to apply for the ThaiPass. However, when applying for the visa it asks yo to upload the SHA+booking and insurance certificate. So do you need to book the hotel and buy medical insurance before applying for the visa? I looked but couldn't find the answer to this question. Thanks.

I go in April to Thailand. First quarantine in BKK and then fly to Udon to meet my girlfriend. For day 5 testing I will book SHA+ hotel in Udon, but I was wondering if it's allowed that my gf stays with me then? As we already be together then for 4 days.

Hi all, Decided to bite the bullet and finally book a family holiday to Phuket. Thought I had it all figured but now not so sure.... Apologies if old news but can anyone helps with the following:

1. We're flying straight into Phuket and hope to do the test and go (when restarted) however I just read on one the websites first not is SHA++ rather than SHA+ (IS there a difference???) We've booked a SHA+ hotel for whole stay

1. Do you need to isolate after the day 5/6 test until you get results?

1. We have to fly back via Bangkok (Singapore rules) and only staying 6 nights hence test and go. But is it just going to be easier to extend by one night and use sandbox??? Other than length of stay, is there any difference in the testing requirements? It doesn't look like it but again a lot of info out there

Two questions: (Planning to arrive on Phuket on Feb 3- Feb 10) so was going to book a 7 day hotel in Phuket and apply for VISA and Thailand pass this week.

1) Can I use Expedia to book an SHA+ hotel for 7 days? And then will that reservation work for the VISA application online as well as Thailand Pass? If the hotel has to send proof of reservation do they do that once Expedia is used to book afterwards?

2) I noticed if I book some hotels in Phuket they mention you have to book two PCR tests, is this something I can book independently somewhere or I have to book through the hotel?

I made sure that the hotel is SHA+.

Are they suppose to provide me any kind of certificate? Do I need to do anything special other then pay for the rooom?

I sent the hotel a few e.maiils but they dont respond

So after the 16th of december, no need to go in SHA hotel and test ?
