Is it normal for your quarantine hotel to not give you the document showing your PCR was negative? I just phoned my hotel's reception and they said I'm good to check out. I thought I'd get a paper lol

Edit: k they gave it to me at check out alongside a rapid test :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
Many guests have encountered situations where their quarantine hotel did not initially provide a document confirming their negative PCR test result upon checkout. It's common for hotels to rely on hospitals for testing documentation. However, experiences vary, with some guests receiving their documentation at checkout while others had to request it specifically or did not receive it at all.

Your hotel didn't do the covid test, the hospital did. if you really want the document (which you're entitled to) then you have to ask the hospital. But no, all 3 of my covid tests in the sandbox I never got any paper from.
