Dear group, I entered Thailand last week with DTV and received a 6 month stamp until 26.12. I will leave on 15.07. And on 10.11. I want to re-enter. Will I get 6 months again on 10.11. until 10.05.27 or will my time end on 26.12.26?
Answer summary
The individual seeks clarification on obtaining a 6-month stamp upon re-entering Thailand with a DTV visa. Comments confirm that, regardless of prior stamps, each new entry will lead to a fresh 180-day stamp. They stress the importance of understanding entry regulations, including TM30 and 90-day reports for extended stays.

DTV is 5 year multi entry visa. You can go in and out as many times as you like in 5 years. You will always get stamped back in for 180 days. But don't stay longer than 180 days in thailand. Even if you go out for one day and come back 20 times consecutively you get stamped in at 180 days each time. Its a beautiful thing

A fresh 180 days, it pays to know what date you should be stamped to and check before leaving the airport as its inconvenient if you are incorrectly stamped and need to get it fixed.

so if person takes out of Thailand trip within 90 days , then no need for 90 days immigration check with tm30? Correct?

TM30 has nothing to do with 90 day reports, and has always to be done within 24 hours after arrival at the property.

You can prevent 90 day reporting by leaving the country before 90 days, but I don't see any reason to do so, 90 day reporting is free and easy.

TM30 is responsibility of the property owner and has to be done within 24 hours after you arrive, it should not be your business, but when property owner not does, you might get problems.

90 day reporting, TM47 has to be done every first time of a stay in person at Immigration when you stay 90 days. It can be done about 2 weeks before and some time after.

Doing by registered mail with return envelope and letting somebody else do on your behalf also counts as in person.

thanks for input. Living in Thailand, I would like to explore Europe and Asia. At least 1st couple of years.

However you mentioned its free and seems an easy process. I have been reading various information i.e Self Reporting, VS via Agent reporting, VS mail reporting vs landlord reporting etc.
