Would it be possible to get a visa exemption when I arrive at the airport in Bangkok and then purchase a 30 day visa extension on the same day from the airport? Any advice is welcome! US citizen. non-married, already own a condo in Thailand and frequently in country on visa exempt.

Is there any benefit to doing an OA instead of O?

Seems like O is the way to go. I've been reading lots of posts and can't see any benefit to OA. I don't mind the 30-day to one year extension process for o. I'm already at Cheangwattana frequently.
