Hello! I'm a Dual US citizen and Thai National, wife (US citizen) just got approved for her 90 day Visa Non-O through marriage, should we go to the govt office when we land in Bangkok to extend it for a year, or wait closer to the end of the 90 days (I originally thought we got a year when it was approved, but guess not)? Also, what exactly do we need to provide for info when we go?

Thanks ahead of time.

Hi , will try to be clear

French citizen

Visa non O ( multi one year got in Savhanakhet in April 2019 as married to a thai citizen)

So have to go out of Thailand every three months

Current date to go out is 12/31/2019

Went in Nongkhai yesterday and they refused to let me go out of Thailand to Laos as my passport is over on 06/17/2020 and Laos ask for 6 months validity...

immigration close 3 days and after 12/31/19 I will overstay my 3 months stamp ...

20 years here without any overstay day and my mistake to not check the 6 months story ...

What can I do ?

Go immigration the 01/02/2020 explain them my situation pay two days overstay and hope they don’t deport me and can give me one month prolongation for 1900 bahts ? I even don’t know if such a prolongation can be done inside Thailand in my case ...

so I have time to go bangkok French embassy get a new passport in one or less than one month , what do you think ?

Two others solutions to stay legit but very costly because of end of the year prices ...

or find a plane after tomorrow 31 for japan , only country in Asia not asking for 6 month’s passport validity 26000 bahts and planes full ...

or find a plane to France 29000 bahts and renew my passport in France .

Need best advise PLEASE 😉

Hey guys, i live in europe with my husband (Uk citizen) and eventually we want to settle in Thailand. We are married and aware he can get a non O based on marriage and have the 400k in a bank account for the yearly extension. My question is about him working legally in Thailand, unfortunately he doesnt have a degree. Officially Qualified in airline operations/ticketing, what would his options be in terms of working ? Appreciate any good advice.
