Can you advise on what other documents are required if I have a letter from my embassy? Planning to go in next week and want to be prepared. Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on required documents for immigration after receiving a letter from their embassy, specifically for a situation involving a 60-day tourist visa and current amnesty. Community members suggest consulting the local immigration office or checking social media for recent experiences. They emphasize documenting as per the usual requirements for a normal extension, given the variations across different immigration offices in Thailand.

. So you're on amnesty now. You can make an appointment and see if you are covered by what this poster is stating. Take the usual documents for a normal extension
Is South Africa issuing new extension requests letters NOW?

There are 70 immigration offices in the country, AND last time they took embassy letters for "unable to travel due to covid-19" extensions there was a HUGE disparity between what each office wanted as far as documentation. I'd say call your immigration office OR post on a f/b page related to where you live in thailand and see what was required at your office last time
